EVENT DESCRIPTION:

VENUE: Food and Beverage Lab

TIME:  0900-1100

All the equipment and ingredients will be provided

Maximum Points : 50 

The competition is meant to challenge the level of the baking skill and creativity of the participants.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Scores for the teams will get accumulated over the rounds. The team with the maximum points will be adjudged the winner. The judges’ decision will be final.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Participant/s entry will be judged based on the following aspects:

  1. 20 % of marks based on presentation(decoration and creativity)
  2. 20 % of marks based on flavour of the cupcake (based on ability to follow recipe)
  3. 10% of marks based on flavour of the icing

EVENT RULES:

    • Participants are to be given recipes to bake two varieties of cupcakes and creatively decorate them.
    • This is a group activity, with TWO participants per school only.
    • Judging will be based on ability to follow recipes well, creativity and flavor.
    • Organizers reserve the right to use photographs of winner and their artwork for the purpose of advertising and promotions.

POINTS FOR THE ROLLING TROPHY:

  1. The winner shall be a team that has accumulated most points.
  2. The first runner up shall be a team that has accumulated second most points.
  3. The second runner up shall be a team that has accumulated third most points.

At the end of the day points from all events will be added up together and the institution which has accumulated maximum points will be awarded a rolling trophy. All the event descriptions are approved by the event management committee. The event management committee has the right to make any changes on the given proposal at any time.
