SAMPLE THEME: AP Cloning and Man-in-the-middle attack

One of the most interesting attacks against wireless networks relies on cloning the access point and then monitoring the information that is transmitted when users attempt to connect to it. An attacker can not only gain access to authentication credentials but can also employ a man-in-the-middle attack to intercept or redirect network traffic.

Create a rogue Access Point and then perform a man-in-the-middle attack to unsuspecting users who connect to this Access Point.

Use appropriate Khali Linux and other ethical hacking tools available over the internet.

Caution

: Ethical hacking rules must be respected throughout the practical – Do not harm anyone.
