ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE CHALLENGE The Accounting and Finance Challenge's participants are expected to take part in an academic competition that tests their accounting knowledge and skills. Teams will be asked a variety of questions on 1. Financial Accounting, 2. Cost Accounting and 3 Finance Management, which they have to answer correctly.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Scores for the teams will get accumulated over the rounds. The team with the maximum points will be adjudged the winner. The judges’ decision will be final.

EVENT RULES:

  • Each team comprises of three participants.
  • One team per institution only.
  • The challenge comprises of four rounds namely: /span>

o THE BALANCING FACTOR: A general question will be asked to all teams. The team will be asked to resolve only one balancing question. Teams will be given 30 minutes to resolve this challenge. The answer gets up to a maximum of 20 points in this round. o THE ACCOUNTING FACTOR: Each team will be asked to select one representative to shuffle an accounting related question from 10 cards, randomly and give an answer. If one fails to answer in 60 seconds, the next candidate will be given a chance to shuffle the cards. There will be only one round of questions in this round. Each correct answer gets 10 points in this round. o THE COSTING FACTOR: Each team will be asked to select another representative to shuffle a costing related question from 10 cards, randomly and give an answer. . If one fails to answer in 60 seconds, the next candidate will be given a chance to shuffle the cards. There will be only one round of questions in this round. Each correct answer gets 10 points in this round. o THE FINANCING FACTOR: The last team member to shuffle a finance related question from 10 cards, randomly and give an answer. . If one fails to answer in 60 seconds, the next candidate will be given a chance to shuffle the cards. There will be only one round of questions in this round. Each correct answer gets 10 points in this round. o No questions will be passed to the next candidate.

Theme: You have to develop and application which can make the kids learn some minimum basic objects, which is used by them in day to day life.

POINTS FOR THE ROLLING TROPHY:

  1. The winner shall be a team that has accumulated most points.
  2. The first runner up shall be a team that has accumulated second most points.
  3. The second runner up shall be a team that has accumulated third most points.

At the end of the day points from all events will be added up together and the institution which has accumulated maximum points will be awarded a rolling trophy. All the event descriptions are approved by the event management committee. The event management committee has the right to make any changes on the given proposal at any time.
